Is young blood welcome always or only welcome when they stick to the established norms? Book reading is good but is it a must? High time jounalists stopped writing for the pleasure of it an start writing for the need of it (need of the society). If its white call it white, if its black call it black (you in your confined view might not hit the nail on its head, but hey no one can get a birds eye view .. you atleast are being genuine by what you see). You need not necessarily read books and know the names, open your eyes wide and look around, state the facts and try to draw logical conclusions, encourage the reader to draw his own, point out the strengths and drawbacks of your observations. Don't spend time writing on the death of the print media, its very much alive.
